About Never Forgotten Animal Society
We are a 501(c)(3) charitable organization formed to rescue animals in need and to provide low cost spay/neuter clinics in the town of Pahrump and the Nye County areas of Nevada.
Our team of caring and experienced animal care specialists love reuniting companions with their owners or until we can find permanent loving forever homes for animals in need. We provide a safe and clean environment for lost, surrendered or abandoned animals until they can be reunited with their rightful owners or to find permanent homes for animals who cannot be reunited with their rightful owners. Our mission is to reduce euthanasia of healthy adoptable animals through Animal Rescue and Spay and Neuter Clinics in Pahrump.
Mission Statement
Our mission is to promote animal welfare and safety and to benefit animals through community education, vaccinations (including rabies), low cost spay/neuter services, microchipping, and providing adoption services. Founded in November 2018, Never Forgotten Animal Society, Inc. (NFASI) was founded with the goal of reducing the number of breeding animals in our community by offering low/ cost spay/neuter services.
Spay/Neuter
NFASI offers to spay/neuter animals of breeding age before they have an opportunity to reproduce. If animals have already produced litters, then NFASI offers to spay/neuter the breeding animal as weII as offering to re-home the litters to help reduce the possibility of over population.
Adoption Service
It is our privilege to offer rehoming services for animals that, for whatever reason, need to be re-homed. For a nominal fee, our services include spaying/neutering, vaccinations (including rabies) and microchipping of each animal prior to re-homing.
Community Education
We believe it is important to provide information to the community on the need for spay/neuter programs to help reduce the overpopulation of animals in our community, to provide information about disease control and to inform the community of the resources available in Pahrump to assist pet owners, concerned citizens, senior citizens and disabled veterans with their animal concerns.
We annually make presentations at schools during Pet Awareness programs to inform students of the need to be responsible pet owners. We provide presentations from an array of animal care specialists including Animal Control Officers and animal rescue groups that includes emphasis on spaying/neutering, vaccinations, veterinary care and general animal health and welfare.
